I get a yucky taste in my mouth when I burp. It’s gross.
Why would he give her antibiotics for acid reflux?? It isn’t an infection. Get to a Dr that knows what it is. However, I have never had ear pain with mine. Maybe she just has an ear infection and it is causing her stomach distress. Have her take some pepto bismol.

I have acid reflux & have never had problems like that. Most of the time I have heartburn or acid indigestion or burning in my throat & esophagus. I take Protonix for this. I don’t think antibiotics really help!
I’ve never heard of pain in the ears being a symptom of acid reflux. I’ve had it for a long time. It is more under control now. I used to have a pain in my throat, but it mainly hurt when I swallowed, like I had a goose egg there, but the pain actually comes from lower than it feels.
With the pain in the ears, I’m not sure. However, it DOES TAKE TIME, so hopefully she will stay with it. It takes awhile to help the scar in the esophagus.

The symptoms of acid reflux are primarily heartburn, regurgitation, and nausea
The main symptoms are persistent heartburn and acid regurgitation. Some people have GERD without heartburn. Instead, they experience pain in the chest, hoarseness in the morning, or trouble swallowing. You may feel like you have food stuck in your throat or like you are choking or your throat is tight. GERD can also cause a dry cough and bad breath.
i have acid reflux too i am using the purple pill nexum
acid reflux is also called gastroesophageal reflux or GERD,,,there may not always be symptoms and it is not always possible to confirm physiologic reflux. the most common symptom however will be heartburn that may be relieved by antacids or sitting upright. It is worsened by vigorous exercise, bending, or lying down. reflux tends to be chronic. long term reflux may show signs of bleeding, choking and dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing)

all im going to say is go to your doctor and ask him to put her on nexium which will HELP!! then go to a gastrologist and have a gastroscopy that will definatly show her problem……very easy procedure…

You have a weird doctor. I have it, and when it happens, it feels like you are about to get sick, and it makes your throat burn. It gets worse if you lay down, and especially if you eat certain foods, like tomatoes.
